If you are not yet aware, my precious Lori lost her battle
with depression and took her own life on Oct.18th.
I can not express the sorrow we feel at the loss of such
a special soul, and gentle spirit.
The loss of such a huge part of my life is something I am
personally struggling with. Dealing with having someone
ripped from my life so violently hurts more than words can
ever express. I know how much this club meant to Lori and
how very hard she worked to make it better for all of us,
and I know Lori will be so missed by everyone who knew
her, as she touched each of us in a special way.
Lori was an especially sensitive woman, who always put
others before herself. She wished everyone to be
comfortable and feel included, as well as cherishing the
time she spent teaching and learning.
I hope she has found the peace her troubled soul did not
find here on earth.
Lori, we will miss you...Always.
