Russian Splendor Necklace
Embedded firepolish beads peak out from a netting of
delicate size 15 seed beads. Mix and match Russian Leaves
can be worn with it - or not - making this a very versatile look.
The Russian Leaves make great earrings too.
This kit includes enough beads to make a 24" necklace:
3mm Czech Firepolish beads
Size 15 Japanese seed beads
Size 11 Japanese seed beads
Size 11 Delicas in 3 colors
C-Lon beading thread
John James beading needles
Complete, illustrated instructions
Bring your own:
Size 15 seed beads - 10 grams (for the netting)
Size 11 seed beads (a few grams) (Size 11 Delicas can be used here also, or even Size
11 Toho triangles) (for the netting crossover bead)
3mm Czech firepolish (for the inside of the netting)
16” necklace = 336 firepolish
18” necklace = 378 firepolish
20” necklace = 420 firepolish
22” necklace = 462 firepolish
Size 11 Delicas (for the leaves) – a few grams per color - you can make as many or as few
as you like
Fireline (6lb test)
Size 12 needle
Some people also prefer a larger diameter rope, so 4mm firepolish or 6mm firepolish can
be used instead of the 3mm if desired.
